Bryn Athyn Orchestra Young Artist Competition

About the Young Artist Competition
The Bryn Athyn Orchestra Association has supported aspiring musicians since the orchestra was founded in 1926, both as soloists and as members of the orchestra. The Bryn Athyn Orchestra's Young Artist Competition was first held in 2015.  The competition offers one winner a $500 scholarship and the opportunity to appear as a soloist with the Bryn Athyn Orchestra as part of one regularly scheduled concert during the 2017-2018 season.  The orchestra currently consists of approximately 50 dedicated musicians from the greater Philadelphia area.

The Bryn Athyn Orchestra is currently under the baton of Dan Kujala.  Mr. Kujala is a teacher, an active soloist, chamber musician and a section leader of the Warminster Symphony Orchestra.
